ROK SHKOLA TOV ("Rok Shkola", "we") is a music school that also runs events, rents equipment, provides photography and design services, operates an online learning platform and licenses its teaching methods. Many of our students are children, so we take particular care with their data. This policy follows the Law of Ukraine "On Personal Data Protection" and the GDPR where applicable.

1. Controller

2. Students under 18

Children are enrolled only by a parent or guardian, who provides the child's name, age, contact details of the parent, and any information the teacher needs to know for the child's safety. We do not contact children directly by phone or messengers; all communication goes through the parent. Teachers see only the information needed to teach.

3. Photos and video of students

Concerts and lessons may be photographed or filmed. We publish images of children only with the written consent of the parent, which can be given or refused separately for the school's website, social media and printed materials, and can be withdrawn at any time. Images of children are never published with their surnames.

4. Adult students and online platform users

We process name, contacts, course, attendance and payments. On the online platform we also process account data and lesson progress. Practice recordings you upload to receive feedback are visible only to you and your teacher.

5. Equipment rental

Renters provide identity document details, contacts and a deposit. We record the condition of equipment at handover and return. Identity details are kept only for the rental period and until the deposit is returned.

6. Events

Ticket buyers and jam session participants provide name and contact. Public events may be photographed; signs at the venue inform attendees.

7. Studio clients and licensees

We process contacts, briefs and files for photo and design work, and business data of schools licensing our methods.

8. Purposes and grounds

Performance of contracts (teaching, rental, studio work, licensing), consent (publication of images, marketing), legitimate interest (safety of students, protection of equipment), legal obligations (tax, accounting).

9. Recipients

Payment providers, the hosting provider of the online platform, printing houses for posters (artwork only), tax authorities. We do not sell personal data.

10. Retention

• Student records: enrolment period plus 3 years.
• Published images: until consent is withdrawn.
• Rental identity data: until the deposit is returned, then deleted.
• Platform accounts: until you delete them or after 2 years of inactivity.

11. Your rights

You (or the parent of a child student) may access, correct and delete data (subject to legal retention), restrict or object to processing, obtain a portable copy and withdraw consent. We reply within 30 days. Complaints may be addressed to the Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights or an EU supervisory authority.
